Learn the basics of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
10 week course covering all the fundamentals of BJJ
Learn techniques in both the gi (kimono), and no gi (rashguard and shorts)
Learn ground control and the basics of grounded positions
Learn basic takedowns incorporating BJJ, judo and sambo techniques
You will go over the basics of control, weight distribution and hip movement
Conditioning for BJJ fitness will cover core strengthening and cardiovascular training
Learn the basic joint locks and chokes, alongside real life applications for self defence
Most importantly you will have a lot of fun while learning new skills from some of Jersey’s most active BJJ competitors
